Wish List for 13Skills
« on: December 11, 2012, 09:00:04 PM »
Hi guys, the site is great, two things I would like to see changed or added.

1.) Password length - I would like to use my same password at both the TSP and 13skills.com.  I am in the medical profession so believe me, I have heard the lectures about password safety, but I have to remember too many passwords already.  I wish the password length on 13skills could be dropped to 7 characters instead of the current 8.  Then I could use my same password for both sites.

2.) IMHO I think we desperately need a way to connect based on geographical locations.  To take this community to the next level we need to be able to find people (who want to be found) who may be at least somewhat close to us.  Part of the skill sets are about building community and relationships, I cant find potential friends if I dont know where anyone lives.  The location services could be optional for the enduser.

BTW - Southern WV here - LOL

Just a couple of thoughts...probably wont get my way on either, but I have a backup plan if I don't, LOL.

Good ideas.  Can't help you with the password suggestion, but I bet its implemented.

On the location, I put my location in the personal message section of my profile.  Hopefully, that will make it easy for others in my area to find me.
