Fiocchi ammo question
« on: February 15, 2013, 08:35:36 AM »
Seems like this would be a good deal but I know nothing about ?Fiocchi ammo.  Can anyone give me the 411 on this brand?  A local gun store is advertising this.  Still a little high but nice to see the quantity.

1000 ROUND CASE OF FIOCCHI 9MM FMJ...........$299.99!!!! OR 50 ROUND BOX FOR ONLY 16.99.

The only ammo from them that i have first hand experience with, is shotgun shells, which were just fine. They made black powder and caps up until the advent of metallic cartridges then switched. I havent heard anything bad about their ammo and they have a manufacturing facility in the u.s.

I wouldnt have any reservations about buying their stuff.

I have never heard any complaints about the brand.

For a brief period one of the local ranges would only let you shoot ammo you purchased there and Fiocchi was the cheapest stuff they had, so I used it for a few months.  Cycled fine, not unusually dirty, wasn't noticeably different than any other brand I've shot.

I've used Fiocchi 9mm in my CZ85 with no trouble.

It is a solid foreign brand. Very common in euro areas. I wouldn't trade gold dots for their PD load, but for target ammo, I'd give it a solid thumbs up.

Good ammo.

Much of it is made in the good ol' USA
