I was forced to get a poodle as a dog as a child, was a pure breed german poodle. One thing you got to watch out for they will control your bigger dogs atleast mind did. We had a semi-dumb Rott/Pitt and the poodle use to send it off after dogs and sometimes people and sit back watching the chaos.

Here is my hunting dog. German Wirehaired Retriever that we got from a rescue. She is great and loves to hunt quail, coyotes, tracks wounded deer and retrieves whatever I shoot. I tried to post a few pics but it isn't working for me tonight.

Well I am back to a computer where I can post some photos. Here is my German Wirehaired, and another photo of me, my oldest daughter and dog hunting, taken by my youngest daughter two years ago.

You have to appreciate my daughter's taste in hunting boots. You must always compromise when taking kids hunting so they enjoy every aspect of hunting, this insures that they will want to go hunting again.
