It seems a bit expensive, i know its a TSP sponsor.  Im a bit ignorant on the medical field, just wondering if anyone thinks this is a good buy or even a decent buy.  I was looking on amazon, and I think a similar bag is on there for much less.

If you want an actual comprehensive medical kit, I'd say this is the one. Nurse Amy clearly put allot into planning this thing, right down to the rationale for where things are placed in the bag.

If you want to go the gradual route, you'll notice that there is a complete, categorized gear list so you can do it yourself at your own pace/financial ability. I haven't priced it out, but my suspicion is that the mark up they put on the assembled bag is less than Amy's time and expertise are worth, making it a pretty good value.

Remember that the D&B kit also has dental equipment, and you aren't going to find another kit that includes both herbals and conventionals.

The Stomp Medical bag that you linked from Amazon is more of a first aid/trauma kit than a full survival medical kit which makes it a little bit of an apples/oranges thing. The contents list for the Stomp bag is pasted below.  As with many "xxx hundred items" kits, 100 pieces are band-aids and another 100 are iodine wipes. Compare it with the list for the Doom and Bloom kit http://store.doomandbloom.net/products/family-medical-bag.html.

Cooter is right on.   I just watched Nurse Amy's video for the family medical bag and it is loaded.  There is simply no comparison to the Stomp bag on Amazon.  Nurse Amy's bag is diverse to handle a wide range of situations ..... even dental! which is awesome, no one else is doing that.  And the quality of the items are going to be superior.
And, Nurse Amy hand packs each bag. If she cares that much, she's not going to let you down.

Nutnfancy has a few Youtub videos on this topic that I think are worth watching.

I agree Doom and Blooms kit is the best out there, it covers allmost everything and she put a lot of effort into it.
