deadly non corporate sesame tahini cookies
« on: February 08, 2013, 11:06:08 PM »

I had bought many cans and jars of sesame tahini a year or two ago so that I could make humus. I became concerned that maybe I would not use all the tahini so a friend of mine recently made some sesame tahini cookies using some of the better brands of the tahini. She won't reveal the exact recipe, but says it is like a shortbread style butter cookie. These things are very seductive, I feel like maybe I will try one, then I end up eating like 4 or 5  and then I don't sleep as good as there was a sugar high.

My wife makes homemade hummus with tahini pretty often. Our kids (and me 8) ) love to dip veggies in them.
