Books on Plants
« on: March 07, 2013, 12:56:33 AM »
I'm fairly new to gardening.  I'm having a hard time discovering different plants for setting up a multilayered annual bed. Does anyone know of any books with good descriptions of plants, their root systems, needs, strengths, weaknesses. Basically, any "tactical" as opposed to operational or strategic approaches to the permaculture/multi-layered bed approach for gardening?

I don't think this is exactly what you are looking for, however it is an excellent resource.  I recommend this to anyone that is looking into gardening, and may want to keep the seed from his/her plants until the next season.  I hope this helps.
