Hunting attire in Central Florida
« on: April 12, 2013, 12:23:51 PM »
I'm new to the hunting scene and have created several topics asking for advice and so far everyone has been very helpful. I have an additional question to ask.

What attire do I need to purchase in order to hunt in central Florida for wild pig? I was told I need either snake boots or snake proof gaiters as well as a hunting orange vest and hat. Can anyone recommend anything else? if you can provide brand names and locations where to look these items up I would appreciate it.

thanks,

Joe

Head net for insects, especially if you are hunting from a stand. The swamps of central FL breed all kinds biting flying pests. Don't let them ruin your hunt.

Any specific shirts or pants I should get? Can pigs smell you as well as deers?
