As an FYI I wrote Emberlit today and they said the only difference is weight. In response to my question about strength and durability they said, "Both have a forever happiness guarantee".

Just to update Santa brought the stainless Emberlit today and I'm very happy with it. It's a bit on the heavy side, but it's very easy to assemble and seems very sturdy. The fact that it stores completely flat and will burn any kind of fuel will make it an important part of my bag. I'll be buying another one.
