We went out saturday morning and found no birds but we did find some wild mushrooms!




So after dinner I took the girls out and we searched the creek behind the house and found a few more!

This is Khloe with the big one.

Nice Morels!!!
My friend in WI, his nephew got one on my friends land 2 days ago. 25 pounds. Nice looking tom.

Nice!  I expect morels to start popping with the next warm-up.  Hope I find some this year.  I've never been successful despite following the suggested tips.  Of course as the morels come out so do the Copperheads and seedling ticks.

our season doesnt start till next month I may get a chance the last week, I normally miss spring season and go for turkey in the fall.

We get a month in the spring but I have a hard time making it out more than two or three times each year
