Going on a bear hunt
« on: June 11, 2014, 06:50:48 PM »
So my sis inlaw sends me a text saying she wants to send her husband (older bro) on a bear hunt and could I go with him.
So I replied:
Well yeah of course if you pay for me. Lol
Guess what that's kinda what she wanted to do....

I just need to help her pull off the planning of it. And she needs something decided by Friday!!!!!
Sounds impossible but then I do have the tsp forum working on my side right!?

So any suggestions on a guide or outfitter... All we need aretags and a place.  We can provide all our own camping and hunting gear if needed......

GO!!!
(Thanks)

Sorry Dude,I do not know a good(or bad) guide, but lemon pepper and Louisiana hot sauce should be in your kit. YUMM.

Also , try to make sure you aren't the slowest man in the group,or carry a 22 pistol to make sure...

Not a fan of 'spring' bear meat and never use a guide to hunt, sorry. . . . .   Good luck.

We would probably go in the fall and wouldn't really need a guide but I'm not sure of what state would be a good place to start looking. ( I live on Oklahoma)

Can't help you there, but if you really have your heart set on getting a nice bear and having a lot of bear to choose from, consider western Canada.

There are some monster big black bears in Mt rainier National Park.  But you probably want to return home too and not spend a lot of time in Walla Walla.  :D
