I'm getting 2 quarts of raspberries every day now. Got about a pint of cherries off the tree before the birds took their toll. It's a young tree but I was hoping for more.

My cucumbers and squash are starting to come in now. Along with some paste and cherry tomatoes. I think one sweet pepper is ready to pick green but I will leave it sweeten up.

Yesterday, we were blessed with : 10 lbs of yukon gold potatoes (a small area planted end of May, the rest of the bad was planted later) ; more than a quart of strawberries and 1/2 gal. wild blackberries, there have been blackberries we have missed, it is hard to go get them. Purslane for vitamins, magenta spreen lambsquarters to cook with dinner, and 1 cherry tomato (our second this year, soon we will have tomatoes)

Tomato seeds survive even the acids in the digestive tract (they will eat a nail!) when in the tire service business I would get the call to
repair flats on a tractor that relocated a giant sized sprinkler/spreader in a field North of the cities sewage treatment plant ...the solids
were sprayed on a hay field and often there would be more mature tomato plants than hay. The regular (he said regular) workers would kid me
about the S%$T job I had ..but the "DIRT" was treated and had no odor and when I asked to pick some of the pretty , ripe tomatoes ...
they thought I was crazy, but much later I told them the BOSSES AT WORK loved my roadside stand tomatoes ...so who had the last laugh?

Harvested a nice bunch of Capsella bursa-pastoris. Good medicinal herb, to deal with many blood-related issues, can also provide a powder to stop bleeding. I've already made some, but haven't tested it yet. Working with axes, saws, chisels, drawknives every day, making knives and tomahawks, sharpening knives for the whole family and yet I haven't cut myself enough to test the powder ever since I made it.

More walnuts. Picking up a feed bag or more a day. (40# with hulls, somewhere around there)
This will be ongoing for a couple more weeks probably, in a lessor amount. Have picked up 13 bags this week alone.

I'll use the proceeds to buy more piggie food being's the walnut huller place is close to the feed mill.

Italian prunes! They are delicious. It's nice when the best plums I've ever had grow in my backyard.

Here's on oddball. I'm getting ground cherries (or husk tomatoes) right now. Dozens off only 2 plants. Last winter my wife asked me to grow them. She'd gotten some from a relative last year and loved them. They're like little sweet tomatillos and delicious. I don't think I've ever had them before. Certainly not in my local grocer.

Last of the goji today. Too bad, the baby loves them.

Went for just a walk around, found plenty of parasol mushrooms. Slicing them now, carefully placing on drying sifts. Woodstove is warming the yurt. Nice evening.
