While TWD and FTWD are not my favorite - I can only say to the people who think the characters are acting in a mindless way - when was the last time you had to deal with the general public - I am sorry to say that I think the writers are spot on. :(

When they do something stupid, I try to remind myself, that in the story, it's really only been about 6 days or so since Los Angeles fell and the military pulled out and it all went to shit. I know it was a few more days (maybe a couple of months, not sure) where they were living in the guarded compound but for probably 90% of that time I think they were completely stuck in normalcy bias mode that the outbreak would be contained, the military would protect them, and at worst there would be a lot of people dead when society righted the ship. Obviously not... :o

A week is not a lot of time to switch your mind from "I'm living in a civilization" to "Holy crap, the dead are walking, trying to eat my face, and most of the living are more dangerous than that" mode. Especially to people that were not survival minded at all prior to the event (the former warlord Hispanic guy excepted perhaps). I'll probably keep watching and see how they end up this season mainly because I'm curious what Strand's story is.

Strand is about the only character that I find interesting at this point.

If things don't pick up, I won't be watching Season 3.

Game of Thrones is up against it.   I watch GOT and record FTWD.   I will continue to watch this with my DVR to fast fwd through the commercials.

I liked the last episode.

A first I did not like this show.  I am a big The Walking Dead fan and this did not do it for me.  Now the more that I watch "Fear" the more I get into it.  The show has developed into an interesting show.

So, in episode 3.9, when she just completely offered to give the Indians all their guns to make them feel safer both my wife and I did a collective 'WTF?!?' and turned the channel.

We are avid TWD fans, but Fear is now dead to us (punny!).

Some of the decisions on there make me say the same thing.

Fear got so bad this season we actually have stopped watching it and instead are rewatching the entire series of TWD. Hope to finish before the premiere on the 22nd.
