One more bump from me on this old thread. :)

I went and got yet another TB test a few weeks ago (have to every year when you work in healthcare). And as they were filling out the initial paperwork, they asked me if I was currently (or even recently) on any dosages of prednisone. I said "No." And then I asked why. They said "Because any traces of prednisone in your system can induce a false positive."

EUREKA!!!  :excited:


I know for a fact that I was on prednisone back in 2011 when I had my various TB tests administered, and then I got that stupid false positive, which then led me to start this thread!!

MYSTERY SOLVED!!!!  :happydance:
