New England Deer Hunting
« on: May 29, 2009, 12:36:30 PM »
I'm just getting back into deer hunting after a decade hiatus.  It's also the first time that I'll be hunting in New England, instead of the the Carolinas.  Any words of advice?

Make sure you have a State Permit and also permission to hunt on a persons property.  Also, common caliber in New England is .308 or 30-06.  12ga is fine, although no buckshot in CT!

Are you in NH? I'm just guessing from the FSP icon. If you are, I'd assume this is where you'll want to start:
