Does anyone have a contact for SW? Have you been trying?

It has been 25 days since he logged into TSP last. I just emailed him and gave him my cell phone number and email address. Told him we were worried about him. Maybe he can check his email, but has been too busy to check in.

If the county was that concerned about dangerous things, maybe they ought to have handed out "danger do not enter" signs?
Maybe they should have plugged up the hole in the fence with the car the county guy drove there in? Or all the tree debris?

Yeah.. 650 pissed off people need to go to county hall. At the same time.

While the idea sounds dumb to cite people so soon after a hurricane,
perhaps it is to show they did their part so as to avoid later lawsuits from people having accidents?

But MAN,that guy must really feel special in performing his duties....

I continue to pray for Shadow Walker as this long lapse is uncommon in this era of available communications.

No power for 4 to 6 months on Puerto Rico, how do you preserve food for 3.5 million people? Or is canned stuff all of which has to be brought in by boat and distributed? It's as if they were EMP!

The life in many areas is way different than what we accept as normal in the US. Refrigeration and air conditioning are often not so commonplace in the average home and people often shop ,or hunt, each day for food and often water that we take for granted as we work harder to earn those things. Few peoples have the drive and work ethics of Americans as we live on a higher standard than many countries . I don't say this to slight any peoples,it is just that we have different lives than they do .

Didn't SPAM come about because great Britain back in WW2 needed shelf stable protein?

I'm wondering if companies like SPAM,Campbell, mountain house, MRE manufacturers and others are going to ramp up production.

I'm just doing a thought exercise, what ya all think?

It just allows them to clear out back stock and maybe unload a military storehouse somewhere ,but often such donations are not recognized as food by many ,but I think these peoples we have helped many times in the past.
