found it.  There is a chapter about isolating patients but not like you posted from yours.

Only the 1942 version has this chapter in it as far as I know.  I have one older & newer & they don’t contain it.

Thank you! I did order two different editions... waiting for them to arrive. I was also inspired to order a six-pack of reusable cotton isolation gowns. Being able to care for family members if an epidemic breaks out is important, I think. Will add it to the medical preps.
