We have two goats that were obtained for 4H projects and they have cleaned every weed out of their pen! They are great and they are very social and fun to watch! i had to put up  one strand  solar powered electric because the mail was getting out!

This largely matches what I've seen with my goats.  Some different weed species in Missouri, but similar strategies.  Mine attack multiflora rose, poison ivy, and brambles.  Stuff our cattle won't eat.  Still have to clip pastures, but not as often.  So we are saving diesel and time while also getting a marketable product and converting trash plants into fertilizer.  Other than the fencing, it's real hard to beat.   ;D

In addition, mine will hold back resprouts in thinned timber by eating the leaves.  I have to work fast in thinning as my goats will also run to the sound of a chainsaw.   They LOVE leaves!  ;D
