True, Carl.  It is 2 lbs heavier, and weights tend to snowball when going from QRP to QRO, but as we've discussed many times here before anything less than 100 watts on HF isn't to be trusted for serious purposes anyway.  $619 is a steal for that radio.

I predict that after this couple of months of pranking us around with this lame-beyond-crutches 818 business, Yaesu is going to release an astonishing new QRP rig on 1 April.
