Dunno if it's everywhere, but HD here just marked their ugly orange buckets from almost $5 to about $2.35.

Just FYI...

I really need to get started on some bug out buckets.  I picked up a few food items cheap to have in the house and keep in the car.  I didnt see the buckets on HD's website.  Are they just in stores.  I drove right by a HD today and totally forgot to stop in.

My HD always sells them for $2.39, you guys are gettin' ripped off.

The lids are like a buck or $1.50 I think.

Just bought a couple of the buckets.  The lids with the rubber seal were .98.

Since every little bit counts, don't forget to go by your local post office and grab a few on the moving packets. There should be a Lowes coupon in there, which Home Depot should match. I have used them for every purchase so far, with no issue. It will be a 10% off coupon. I am located in Texas.

In NY they also take the Lowes coupons. I would guess that it's company policy.
The see it as taking business away from their biggest competitor.

I got mine at menards for $2.  That was without the lids, but I ordered gamma seal lids to take care of that.
