I have some questions ..
How concerned should I be about what appears to be very slight fraying on my recurve bows string in the loop that connects the string to the end of the bow ? I haven't had it very long, but I may had some minor problems stringing it the first couple of times before I fixed it correctly, though I'm not sure that that could have anything to do with it. I probably will bring it to a shop and show them just to be safe.
Every time an arrow misses the target, I bend it back and forth to see if it cracks. It seems the compound bow causes the nock to fall off and the back of the arrow where the nock is to fracture. That happens when you hit a rock or something besides the target. The recurve bow doesn't seem to do that, maybe because it is not putting out the arrow with as much force.
