I am already working on my 13 skills challenge. I disassembled and reassembled my yet-to-be fired AR bolt assembly. I had no idea it had so many parts! ;-) Seriously, youtube is an invaluable resource for this sort of task.

I am trying a new crock pot recipe for a roast. Picture here.

 . . .  You might want to reformat the picture.  It looks like you're preparing to cook an alien.

Moved Archer's 2 bee hives up to the farm today.

Discussed pet's deaths with my 3 year old today when we had to bury our dog who died last night. We buried him on the farm. RIP "Cyrus".

Picked up a few more ounces of silver. Picked up some parts for my ruger 10/22: Sling mount barrel band, charging handle, rod, and springs, ejector, extractor and spring, auto-bolt release, bolt buffer, take down screw, tapco intrafuse stock, extended mag release, Volquartsen Target Hammer and trigger. picked up some spare parts for my Mosin 91/30. Ordered combo pack TVP, DH hashbrowns, FD mixed veges, and DH onions from Honeyville. Tore apart Mosin and Ruger and cleaned and lubed. Picked up some reusable mason jar lids, bread flour, and yeast. Printed off some kitchen conversion charts for my binder.

Woke up wide awake at 4 am for some unknown reason. So it's 7 now and I've already gotten my run in. I finished up lesson plans and the first day of school is neatly laid out on the table. Starting preschool with the youngest, so I've got 3 whole students now!

I added a scope mount and reflex sight to my Remington 870. I finally got around to editing the video and posted it today on my blog here.

researched tires for one of my cars. the current ones are bald and i really don't want to deal with a flat/blowout... or have my wife driving when that happens.

i discovered i can get them from one of the local tire shops as opposed to a chain for only slightly more money, but the tires are WAY better than what i could get from a chain. so i'm getting better tires and supporting a local business... win/win!

So, I am talking to my wife this evening and lamenting the fact that our frying pans are all worn out and the surfaces are no longer non-stick. I tell her I am buying a new frying pan so I can cook my turkey bacon and eggs every morning. I then say what I really want is a cast iron pan that I can season and use every day.

She then goes into a cabinet and pulls out an old, cast iron pan passed down from her mother and grandmother. We have been married for almost three years and together almost five years. I have never seen that pan before. If I had, I would have snatched it up and used it.

So, I now have an old, cast iron pan to season and use. SCORE!

The offer on the 40 acre property next to the 60 acres that Z's parents put in next to Z's farm has been accepted. So now we have the perfect place for the B&B setting and 100 acres to play with.

Thanks.. I said that kinda weird though. Z bought 60 acres and his parents bought/offer accepted the 40 acres next door.

Just got home from 8 hrs. OT.
