.
Ours haven’t had a chance to get tall; the deer prune them in the winter.   >:(
No deer in the neighborhoods here though some still hang out in the few woods that are left.
Some of ours are 8' but we're beginning to trim em down some. Some stems naturally die off. They pull over fairly easy, but are brittle some have to be careful.
They begin to produce at 2 years, and the third year they do better, continuing to bush out.
I have a place in mind that was once a flower bed, grown over with grass now. It was a sandy soil 4 or 5 inches deep that I added when I built it and full sun. From what I've been reading looks like it would make a good spot. Got another similar area that is partial sun that might do well also.
I could send a few roots/cuttings.  ;)
8) I'll give'em a try. I may just put glyphosate on the grown over area to kill the grass quickly or perhaps make holes as needed. The other area was sort of a dumping spot for wood shavings. Used to have a huge rose bush there.

Grocery run this morning. Didn't need anything but TP was a good price so got some for the stash also #10 can of yellow hominy and a couple rolls of parchment paper for the stash. Hit three different stores for the stuff but nothing out of the way. I watch the sale flyers and check online, got good prices on all.

Got 2 more 25' rows of onions in yesterday evening. Doubled them up, staggering onions on each side of the string line. So that will make six 25' rows of onions, double what we usually put in.

Bought replacement supplies today. Yea, we rotate.  ;D
Swung by the feed store as we needed chicken scratch, and bought extra bags of cracked corn. Figured that can't hurt, as all the flooding in Nebraska will probably raise the corn prices this year.

Oh, I thought you were growing TP there for a minute. Not that it's not a useful crop but you really need  something to use it for.  :egyptian:

Found some vacuum packed coffee at Aldi's yesterday. $two-ninety-ish for a 10oz package. Cafe Bustelo brand
Bought 2, going to open one and try it. If it's ok, I want more for LT beings it's vac packed.
Best by date is 1-7-2021 which could be longer I would think. Dunno

Opened one and gave it the smell test.........mmmm no.  :(
So we've been mixing it into our regular 8 O'clock beans that I grind. Won't be buying anymore. I'm going to try Folgers next. They have 2-3 different flavors in the same size vac brick.

From what I've read around different places, instant coffee stores the best, but......
I don't do instant coffee. Course in backing up, if that's all there is.... :-\ :-\

I don't see bricks of coffee often here. Never saw that I recall Folger's in a brick.

Most is online that I've found. Amazon has a good selection.
Our local Wally's have no bricks, and I asked. They came up with 0 in the back room.

yesterday and today i will be updating my FAKs. I will be adding Tegaderm and Hydrocoloid dressing and will be renewing the alcohol wipes cos they dry out eventually.

I also just updated my HAM radio flashdrive (inspired by Carl) with online calculators that can run offline on a PC if you just save the webpage as .html

Managed to get 4 more pepper plants put into a 25' row, which filled that row up.
Also started a row of tomatoes. Got 4 amish paste's put into another new 25' row, but quit as the ground was a tad squishy.
The soil really dried today. Tomorrow should be better.  ;D

Yesterday, bought some storeroom items.

Today, got 12 more Amish Paste maters put in.
Also got 16 Early Girls put in.

Moved the piggies from the new piggie pen #1, to pen #7. Plenty of grass, oats, and weeds there from them to munch on. Probably grubs galore also.
