GREAT BUYS in Tough times
« on: November 12, 2008, 08:10:34 AM »
I thought it would be great if we shared information on internet sales on things we all need so we could help one another save more since times are getting tougher.  I say internet sales because we can all take part in those.
For instance www.childrenswearhouse.com has Gildan sweatshirts for 2.50 all sizes and great prices on school uniforms.
I just got mine in and they are really nice sweatshirts.
If you know of a sale going on post it here and add the starting and ending date of the sale if applies.

Circuit City has filed for bankruptcy.  This may be their last holiday season.

It's time to get rid of any Circuit City gift cards in your possession.

They may have some good deals on GMRS radios and GPS stuff before they sink under the waves.

I posted once before, but http://dealnews.com highlights quite a bit on a daily basis, from electronics to restaurants.  http://www.dealspl.us is another.  There are lots in that direction, but these are the ones I frequent, along with http://www.steepandcheap.com, http://www.whiskeymilitia.com

Also, http://www.woot.com, http://shirt.woot.com, http://wine.woot.com are a few more.  If you go to www.wootalyzer.com and download their "wootalyzer" software, you can scroll down through a pretty good list of deal sites, from pet supplies to outdoors gear, software to wine.

Slickdeals.net

Look for the coupon generator.  I hear  you can find some great deals.
Last year got coupons, along with sales on '4 pack' of AA batteries at CVS.  Final Price w/ coupon = about $0.20 per pack.
Yep, twenty cents for a pack of batteries.
