Tomato Seed - Saving

This was a really simple tip I thought I'd share from one of our most famous Georgia gardeners: Walter Reeves. Thought I'd share with everyone.

The fermenting isn't completely necessary, but it sure makes it easier to get only the good seeds.

I wish I'd known this tip before saving seeds this year. Thanks though!

I have heard of this process before... so far I have had good luck with just pulling seeds out of a tomato and leaving them on a paper towel to dry out.  Maybe my germination rate would improve if I did this. It's 50%-75% or so.
