Germinating New Jersey Tea Tree
« on: February 08, 2014, 05:57:41 PM »
Does anyone have any experience germinating New Jersey Tea Tree?  I've had some in potting mix for about a month and a half and another pile in a moist paper towel for a little less.  I have still to see any action.

I've read this tree can be long/difficult to germinate.  Anyone else get these guys poppin?

The USDA recommends submerging the seeds in 180 f degree water and let them soak overnight in the hot water....don't keep the water at 180 just bring the water to 180 put the seeds in let the water cool with the seeds in it overnight.
