considering that the Greek army still issues the potty helmet  :-[, I have access to none!
i know there are some expired European coming from time to time,  so friendly reservists' club has bought some ar training/drill/simulation aids.

Getting to the crux of Ken's original email, being a grey man means you should be steering away from a helmet like others have said.  So many preppers want to be tacticool with all the 'high speed gear (or cheap copies) but the reality is that it will never be used.

We have a saying where I'm from "all the gear and no idea".  You may also use it in the States.

Better to buy yourself some gas cans, torches, a backpack (BOB), tent, jump pack for the car or a million and one other more practical every day items.

If cash is not an issue and its still a "want" go for it, get the best that money can buy (OPS CORE or similar) but not a BUMP helmet....pointless if your serious about this.
