Growing Mums
« on: October 27, 2017, 09:22:10 AM »
I planted some mums 2 years ago and they were covered w 2 in blooms when I set them out as small starters. Now they are blooming heavily, but the diameter of the blooms is only about half that or less. I am wondering if there is anything I can do to bring them back to the larger blooms. It seems like they had larger blooms last fall, this is the third fall they have been here. Is it normal for mums to do this? The size of the plant overall seems fine, they have grown alot so I assume they are happy in their location. (also full sun)

Try removing some of the buds and you can get back to larger blooms. My MOM told me,but I found a video.
