Great post!.  and still up to date.
sometimes the best way to prepare is to look what is common in our past.

Thanks Archer!
Good info.
I thought we had a lot more tornadoes than we do.
It looks like here flooding is a bigger issue.

Hmm, it looks like our main issues here in TN are flooding and tornadoes.  Maybe that's a good indication that I need to keep some stores in a different location as well.

Thanks for posting this.  This is really good info to have.  If you break it down to county, you can see what major issues hit certain counties regularly.

Maybe I need to relocate. Oklahoma has it all. Severe storms, Tornadoes, Straight line winds, Flooding, Severe winter storms, Snowstorms, Severe ice storms, Wildfires. Shoot, the only things we are missing are Major Earthquakes and Hurricanes!

utah has minor earthquakes - never anything on the FEMA page.  and some flooding in certain parts.  rarely enough for FEMA to get involved.

plus, Utah has a preparedness mindset - you can buy Mountain House, etc. at the locally owned grocery stores.  :D
